Mountwood is entering a new chapter as we announce the retirement from GP partnership of Dr Ian Goodman and Dr Liz Hermaszewska following their many years of dedicated frontline service.

Dr Goodman first joined the surgery and partnership in 1985, and Dr Hermaszewska joined in 1990, becoming a partner in 1992.

Their commitment and expertise have shaped the practice for decades, and we are deeply grateful for their influential leadership and huge contributions.

Although stepping down from partnership, both will continue to support the surgery.

Dr Goodman will provide occasional clinics, while Dr Hermaszewska will remain involved in her areas of special interest—particularly respiratory health and learning disability care—alongside offering clinics when needed.

She will also be mentoring colleagues to ensure a smooth transition for the future.

We are delighted that two of our already established doctors, Dr Yamini Rao and Dr Priya Abrol have agreed to join as new partners and look forward to building upon the strong foundations laid by Dr Goodman and Dr Hermaszewska.
