 LGBTQ+ Patients

Mountwood Surgery is working to ensure we achieve excellence in LGBTQ+ healthcare and successfully meet the needs of our LGBTQ+ patients.

We are open to all and are dedicated to protecting diversity and equality. We are here to listen to suggestions and feedback from our LGBTQ+ patients on their experiences with us. If you have something you want to share or feel would help us in this process, please let us know.

It is important to us if you feel you feel able to share your sexual orientation, gender identity and trans status with us so that we may be able to offer the most appropriate support to you within our practice and refer you on to any relevant services if you may need them. Please be assured that you can speak to any member of the team about this in complete confidence.

We are committed to providing safe, respectful, and inclusive healthcare for all our patients, including those who are trans, non-binary, or gender-diverse. We recognise the inequalities and barriers that trans people often face in accessing timely, affirming healthcare, and we strive to ensure that everyone who comes to us is treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
